Interesting thing about dictionary spellings and such... I remember seeing at some point a website for an organization which is seeking to change the spellings of pretty much the entire English language in order to make it more phonetic.
Ah, I just found it. It's "freespeling.com" [sic]: http://www.freespeling.com/
I'm actually rather fond of the current spellings, myself.
