Who cares what "YZ" says about your blog? I enjoy your weblog much more than the majority of them out there (and I doubt I'm alone), so I wouldn't put too much stock in what that anonymous internet user says (who seems to have missed the point). As far as the background colours and such go, here's a webpage that lists a number of various HTML colours. Just pick and choose whatever combo works for you:

Great weblog Dr. P! More exciting was having the special privilege of meeting its author; a bright young chap from the U.K. with a great sense of humor. I look forward to visting his weblog on a regular basis, and taking the journey to wherever he may take us with his witty stories and poetry.

Great weblog as always, Dr. P! :)
The 8March2003 thing seems to be getting a lot of attention (I noticed it on Snopes.com recently).
BTW, here's a site that could give your weblog some more exposure: http://www.bloghop.com/

Hi. I'm your "next-door-neighbour" on the "Bloggers With Content" WebRing. :) I like your site, and I mentioned it on my own blog. Feel free to "view source" on my page to add colors to your scroll-bar, or e-mail me about it. I learned HTML on my own, too. --TTT
